A Lost String Depletes More Than a Violin

Basic frivolity can shatter a heart
That is why I am cold.
No wish,
To risk,
That heart
Of mine,
On a broken violin string.

You tell me it won't break up our act
A charade that's lasted to long.
How can all our tomorrows be smashed

On one brittle, tort, broken violin string?

I'll just twiddle my thumbs and see if you mend
My broken violin string.
With hands of a goddess, tell me,
Have I lost more
Than a
Single
Violin
String.
